Thanks to Healthy Living…again
Thursday, June 3rd, 2010The 9 youth who live at the SRO will be starting a 5 week cooking class offered by Healthy Living. Eli Lesser-Goldsmith presented Spectrum with his idea of having youth participate in a cooking class at their community (state of the art) kitchen space and we could not say no to the opportunity. The youth will learn about healthy and fun cooking while having the opportunity to share a meal together with Healthy Living Staff. Nina Lesser- Goldsmith will be the teacher for the class and Spectrum and the youth at the SRO are really looking forward to this great opportunity. Thanks Healthy Living!
p.s. Eli also offered us all the plates and dinnerware from their cafe since they are changing theirs, we gladly accepted, will look great in our drop-in center.
